Birchwood Primary School are seeking a well-organised, flexible and committed individual to join their friendly office team.
Based in the main school office you will be responsible for a range of administrative tasks such as:
operating the school's financial management system
processing orders and invoicing
communication to all stakeholders.
You will also be responsible for providing additional support in a wide range of administrative duties possibly across both schools in our partnership. You will report directly to the Executive Business Manager.
We are looking for an individual with:
excellent communication and IT skills including use of Microsoft Office
excellent interpersonal skills to establish positive relationships with children and their families
a vision to develop and enhance parental engagement with the school and other agencies
experience of working in a busy office environment
excellent literacy skills
excellent numeracy skills
a positive attitude with the ability to remain calm under pressure
the ability to prioritise work on your own initiative and as part of a team
an understanding of the need to maintain professional confidentiality at all times
GCSE English and Mathematics Grade C or above (or equivalent).
Experience of working within a school would be advantageous but not essential.
