Job Description

As our Finance Administrator, you'll play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the service. You'll handle a mix of financial and administrative tasks that help staff focus on what matters most providing care and support to older people.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Processing invoices and managing petty cash Recording income and expenditure accurately Supporting with service user finances, including allowances and bills Liaising with external agencies such as councils or solicitors Completing monthly reconciliations and banking tasks Assisting with HR entries and staff expenses Providing general admin support, including filing, reception cover and meeting organisation Keeping noticeboards and digital screens up to date Maintaining staff and service user records

This is a varied and important role where your attention to detail and ability to work independently will make a real difference.

About You

You're someone who brings calm, care and structure to busy environments. You're confident working with financial systems, comfortable using Microsoft Office, and able to manage your time well. You take initiative, meet deadlines, and communicate clearly with colleagues and external contacts. You'll be friendly and approachable, with a professional attitude and a willingness to help wherever needed. If you've worked with financial information before, that's helpful but what matters most is your reliability, your care for others, and your ability to work as part of a team.
