Benson Signs, part of LPW Group, are a Liverpool based sign maker established in 1969 who have built up a reputation as one of the UK's leading sign specialists.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Finance & Accounts Assistant to join our team.

This role is responsible for providing essential support in accounts receivable, sales invoicing, and daily administrative tasks.

The successful candidate will work within a close and friendly Finance & Admin team and will work closely with the sales team, manage paperwork for purchase and sales invoices, and assist in financial operations to ensure efficient day-to-day business functioning.

Salary:

Starting 24,200 per annum

Hours:

38 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:



o Purchase Invoices Management: Collate and organise paperwork related to purchase invoices, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.

o Inputting invoices and credits on Sage and dealing with any customer enquiries.

o Sales Invoicing: Coordinate with the sales team to accurately enter sales invoices into the Sage accounting system, and distribute them promptly to customers.

o Credit Control: Support the credit control process by following up on outstanding payments and assisting with account reconciliation.

o Bank Receipts Allocation: Allocate daily bank receipts in the accounting system to ensure timely updates to accounts.

o Bank reconciliation.

o Logistics Support: Enter parcel information into the courier portal for scheduled daily collections, ensuring smooth dispatch and delivery.

o General Admin: Including filing, dealing with general enquiries by telephone and email

o Any other ad hoc duty inline with the role

Skills and Qualifications:



Basic experience with accounting software (experience with Sage is an advantage)

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

Good organisational and time management skills

Effective communication skills for liaising with both internal and external stakeholders

Prior experience in an accounts-related role is preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From 24,200.00 per year
