Job Description


This is a varied and interesting role which offers a great development opportunity for the right candidate. There is real scope to make this job your own and have a real impact on the development of the business.

Working within a team, duties will include, but not limited to;

  • Accounts support; processing payroll information, sales and purchase ledger work. Credit control and bank reconciliations. This requires strong abilities in the utilisation of excel with experience of Sage Instant Accounting a benefit.
  • Submission of statutory HMRC reporting
  • Sales Support to the Recruiters; this will vary from simple administration support, through to managing complex support projects.
  • Legal and Compliance Auditing; checking candidate compliance, keeping our memberships and subscriptions are up to date
  • Office support to the Director; assisting in completing tenders, data analysis, report writing, and various ad hoc tasks where needed.
  • General office management; stationary/supplies purchasing, organising maintenance & repairs, organising staff events
  • Experience in marketing would be useful as you\'ll be maintaining our online presence, but training can be given
The company can be very accommodating with a flexible approach to your office hours.

Who are the likely candidates?
You will have previous experience of working in an office and have a good understanding of accountancy processes. You will be numerically skilled and confident to work on your own initiative. We encourage you to bring your own ideas to the business as your knowledge grows.

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is essential. Experience with Sage and Recruitment software would also be advantageous.
