We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Finance Assistant with strong experience in bank reconciliations and cash management to join a well-established and highly respected organisation based in Belfast city centre. Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations across multiple accounts
Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
Assist with posting journals and processing transactions within the finance system
Support the preparation of month-end reports and reconciliations
Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders on finance-related queries
Assist in process improvement initiatives to enhance reconciliation accuracy and efficiency
Essential Criteria:
2+ years' experience in a finance/accounts role with a strong focus on bank reconciliations
Proficient in using accounting software
Strong Excel skills and a keen eye for detail
Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
