Finance Assistant / Bookkeeper

Job Description
We are a growing provider of Traffic Management services across the United Kingdom and require a Finance Assistant to support our finance operations at our Belfast Head Office on a part-time basis (2-3 days per week to include a Monday & Friday).
Duties will include:
Monitoring of accounts / finance email addresses Raising and monitoring Purchase Orders Processing purchases invoices for payment Issuing customer monthly statements Contacting customers who are beyond payment terms Query resolution Assisting with monthly employee payroll runs Identifying savings across suppliers where possible Recording and allocating receipts and payments Attend meetings as required by management Any other duties, within reason and capability, as determined by Senior Management Team
Essential / Required Experience
1 years minimum experience of working in a similar role within a private sector organisation Xero accounting platform experience Proven Experience in a busy office environment Strong organisational skills Strong process driven person Ability to work to strict timescales Ability to prioritise and plan workload Practical experience of construction / facilities management service delivery or similar Well-developed interpersonal skills Proven ability to successfully work to tight deadlines
Desirable Experience
3rd level business related qualification Qualified Accounting Technician
