Person Profile / Characteristics Required for this Role



This role would suit someone with experience in a similar Accounts or Finance based role with knowledge of credit control and reconciliation processes Minimum 2 years admin/office based experience is desirable Someone who takes pride in producing high-quality work and demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping. Has strong communication skills (both written and verbal), along with advanced numeracy and literacy are essential. Is proficient in using accounting software and systems, Microsoft Office suite and has experience of using a CRM Must be capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously, with strong time management skills, the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and perform well under pressure. You will be self-motivated with a proactive mindset and a strong commitment to achieving successful outcomes. Be able build trust, establish rapport, and develop strong working relationships with others.



We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Assistant with energy, determination, and a positive, can-do attitude to join our team. Reporting directly to the Finance Director, this role plays a vital part in the smooth running of our finance operations and delivering exceptional service across the organisation. This is full-time office-based position.

As a Finance Assistant you will:



Collaborate effectively with colleagues across all departments, with a particular focus on supporting the Sales and Finance teams Serve as a key point of contact for both clients and accommodation partners, maintaining strong professional relationships Ensure all booking information is accurately recorded and consistently updated in both the CRM and accounting systems Bring a positive mindset, strong motivation to succeed, and a proactive approach to learning and development

Tasks and responsibilities will include:



Credit Control



Proactively monitor and manage outstanding client balances to ensure timely collection of payments Communicate directly with clients to resolve payment issues and recover overdue amounts Keep accurate and up-to-date records of all credit control actions and correspondence

Purchase Invoice Reconciliation



Match and reconcile purchase invoices against CRM records across multiple currencies Investigate and resolve discrepancies between supplier invoices and internal system data Ensure accurate and timely upload of reconciled invoices into the accounting software

Sales Invoicing & Client Reconciliations



Prepare and issue sales invoices in line with client agreements and contracts, handling multiple currencies Conduct regular reconciliations of client accounts to verify the accuracy of balances Work with clients to resolve invoicing queries and ensure clear, accurate account alignment

Payment Reconciliations



Reconcile incoming payments to the correct client accounts with a high degree of accuracy Identify and resolve any unmatched or unidentified transactions promptly Maintain comprehensive records of all payment reconciliation activities to support financial accuracy
