We're looking for a part-time Finance Assistant (21 hours p/w) to join our Finance team.
With proven financial experience in a recent and relevant role, you will play an active role in improving and developing our financial systems and processes.
Working directly with the Management Accountant, you will support department budget holders and their teams by providing relevant and timely financial reports and analysis.
You will be enthusiastic about investing your time and expertise into expanding the contribution we make to productions and projects across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
Develop CFT's financial reporting and analysis
Prepare and post journals
Reconcile balance sheet accounts
Maintain the fixed asset register
Collate data for external reporting requirements
Support the preparation of payroll information and reporting
Assist with the preparation of quarterly VAT returns
Contribute to the upgrade of our accounting system
Support the year-end audit process
Provide hands-on support for the purchase ledger team when required
Person Specification
Essential Criteria
Excellent communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
Experience of working within a busy finance department
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Qualifications
Qualified by experience, part qualified, AAT qualified or equivalent
Responsibilities of all Staff Members
