Location-

We are predominantly based in the North West of England, with offices in Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Bolton & Southport, as well as a team in Cambridge. Main Responsibilities

:


Financial Analysis & Reporting




Conduct thorough analysis of financial data to provide insights into business performance, trends and opportunities for non-legal departments. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to identify areas for improvement and support decision making processes Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly MI packs and weekly Flash reports, detailing variance analysis and related commentary

Business Partnering




Serve as a trusted advisor to Non-Legal Directors, providing financial guidance and support to achieve strategic goals and objectives Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments to understand business needs, challenges and opportunities

Budgeting and Forecasting




Lead the annual budget and reforecasting processes for assigned departments, working closely with budget holders to develop realistic and achievable financial plans detailing both revenue and costs Monitor budget variances and provide proactive recommendations to mitigate risks and capitalise on opportunities Proactively look for improvements within existing processes to maximise efficiency and accuracy

Essential Skills and Experience:




Fully qualified or finalist for CIMA, ACCA or equivalent Advanced Excel skills Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Ability to build relationships across all levels of the business, and communicate effectively with financial and non-financial teams Good written and verbal communication skills Flexibility to respond to changing and emergent priorities

Desirable Skills and Experience:




Experience in the Legal sector Use of a case management system Commercially led
