Job Role
The Finance Business Partner (FBP) plays a key role in supporting the company's success by providing financial support and insight to the senior management team. This role is responsible for partnering with various departments to drive financial performance, identify risks and opportunities and ensure financial targets are met.
This is an office based with potential for working from home up to one day per week following successful completion of probation period.
What You'll Be Doing
Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
Lead the budgeting and forecasting for your assigned business areas, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
Assist with the preparation of monthly Management Information and KPIs, including variance analysis.
Attend trading meetings (where required) and provide financial input.
Work closely with the business to drive revenue generation and cost-saving initiatives.
Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support decision-making (e.g. business cases or project proposals).
Be the point of contact for any financial questions, assisting with interpretation and communication of complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders.
Identify opportunities for improving finance and business processes, systems, and reporting to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Promote financial control and governance, including review of the balance sheet.
Support the year-end financial audit.
Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, and adhere to relevant health and safety procedures
Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role
Adhere to stated policies and procedures
Any other tasks deemed by the Company to be necessary for the successful completion of the role
What We're Looking For
You Must?
A professional finance qualification or studying towards final qualification.
Proven experience as a finance business partner or similar role, with a strong understanding of financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A strong business acumen.
Ability to identify financial issues and work collaboratively to find practical solutions.
Computer literate including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Previous experience of working in the ecommerce or retail sector.
Experience of working with financial modelling software.
