The role

Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, you will act as a true business partner to a range of internal stakeholders, including the Sales Director, CFO, and wider Sales team; tailoring reporting to suit a mix of financial and non-financial audiences while driving visibility, clarity, and commercial insight.

About you

The ideal candidate will be a newly qualified or finalist accountant with a strong management accounting background, looking to make a step into a true business partnering role and gain more commercial exposure. You will be Excel savvy with an analytical mindset and data-focused approach, able to extract and analyse commercial information to inform decision-making.

As the Finance Business Partner, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Support the annual budgeting and reforecasting process, including P&L, BS and cashflow modelling Analyse variance to budget and utilise the commercial data to inform decision-making Act as the business partner to the Sales Director and Sales team, developing and tailoring regular reports to provide visibility on key metrics Liaise with the IT team to set up the automation of new/existing reports Support on strategic decision-making exercises, such as new product analysis, pricing, and product initiatives Interrogate monthly cost centre reports to understand variances to budget/forecast Support the Head of Commercial Finance with other adhoc tasks as required

What the client offers
