Key Responsibilities
Financial Operations & Reporting
Oversee month-end and year-end close processes across global entities
Prepare and review consolidated financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP
Ensure compliance with local statutory obligations and accounting standards (UK GAAP, IFRS, US GAAP)
Manage annual audits and liaise with external auditors
Deliver accurate and timely reporting to internal and external stakeholders
Controls & Compliance
Strengthen internal financial controls and introduce scalable processes to support growth
Lead the enhancement of financial systems, with a focus on automation and AI-driven efficiencies
Ensure strong governance across finance, including regulatory compliance and audit readiness
Team Leadership
Lead and mentor a high-performing finance operations team
Drive performance through clear goals, coaching, and a culture of continuous improvement
Contribute to recruitment and onboarding as the team expands
About You
Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
5-8 years of experience in a senior finance role, ideally in a tech, SaaS, or high-growth company
Strong technical background in accounting, audit management, and consolidated financial reporting
Experience working in multi-entity, international finance structures, including UK and US jurisdictions
Familiarity with IFRS and US GAAP, and understanding of global compliance and reporting standards
Hands-on experience with finance systems (e.g. NetSuite), and a strong interest in AI-enabled finance solutions
Skilled communicator who can simplify complex financial information for diverse audiences
Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments with competing priorities
Knowledge of treasury, tax, or transfer pricing is a plus
Experience leading finance transformation projects or system implementations
