We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Finance & Human Resources Assistant to support our Finance & HR team in delivering an efficient and effective service. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting with the Finance & HR systems, managing data entry and assisting with administrative tasks. Responsibilities
Assist with processing orders following The Federation's processes and procedures.
Check incoming stock deliveries and arrange for distribution and storage.
Process invoices on the system, ready for payment, including checking supplier statements.
Counting of monies ready to be processed by the Finance & HR Officer.
Banking monies weekly, accompanied by a member of the federation team.
Collate paperwork for reconciliation of monthly Onecard (purchase card) statements.
Assist the Finance & HR Officer with general stock, distributing supplies to classrooms and carrying out an inventory when necessary
Enter income and expenditure on the finance system, as directed by the Finance & HR Officer/Schools Business Leader.
Updating and maintaining The Federation's Asset Register System.
Assist the HR & CPD Manager with recruitment processes.
Assisting other members of Finance & HR Team when required.
Oversee the SWF Finance email account.
Qualifications
A satisfactory level of education with sound literacy and numeracy skills.
Experience
Previous administrative experience is preferred, working in an office environment and knowledge of financial procedures.
Skills & Abilities
Must be numerate
Must be computer literate and had other office experience
Must be aware or prepared to learn and adhere to KCC Financial & HR Regulations and other relevant school policies.
Must be able to communicate well with others.
Ability to prioritise own workloads and to work to deadlines is essential.
Have a 'can do' attitude and a flexible approach
Knowledge
Knowledge of procedures for updating finance systems, processing orders and invoices, school and KCC financial processes/procedures is desirable but not essential.

Pay: From 24,513.00 per year
