Summary

We are seeking an experienced Finance & HR Manager to join our team in the UK. This pivotal role will contribute significantly to our mission by overseeing Finance and HR functions and ensuring a supportive work environment that fosters growth and development.

Responsibilities

Manage all Finance & administrative functions, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and on-time. Finance duties to include balance sheet reconciliations, end of month shut down procedures, management accounts production, daily bank reconciliations, weekly cash flow reporting, supplier payment runs, credit control tasks. Intercompany Journals for correct cost allocations. Monthly payroll data collation to include daily checking of time sheets and submission of hours recorded to accountants for payroll. To include checking of payroll processing and submission of net wages to the bank. Preparation of quarterly VAT returns in collaboration with the accountants. Support the General Manager with recruitment and onboarding of new staff. Management of a part-time finance assistant to ensure book-keeping tasks completed accurately and efficiently. Foster a positive workplace culture through effective employee engagement initiatives. Provide guidance on performance management and employee relations issues. Oversee return to work processes and recording of conversations / meetings with staff, as required. Reporting to and working with the Finance & HR teams at our Head Office in the USA.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Finance & HR Manager or similar role in a manufacturing environment. Experience with budgeting, forecasting and cost controls. Systems in use are Netsuite and Paycom - whilst experience in these areas would be desirable, this is not essential as training will be provided. AAT qualified or qualified by experience Excellent management and supervisory skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
