We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our team at Sustainit. In this role, you will oversee our financial operations, ensure accuracy and compliance while supporting our mission to provide exceptional customer service. This position is crucial for maintaining the financial health of our organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
Monitor & forecast cashflow.
Prepare and analyse financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Agree and set budgets and provide financial forecasting.
Utilise accounting software Xero/HubDoc for efficient financial management and Fathom for management/shareholder reporting
Collaborate with other departments to support financial decision-making processes for new and existing business.
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
About You
Our ideal candidate has in-depth knowledge and experience of working & leading in a financial management role in a small business. We're seeking a quick learner who enjoys a fast-paced environment who is ready to hit the ground running.
Required skills and competencies
Minimum of 3 years' experience post qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/AAT Level 4) or QBE running the finances of an SME.
Strong analytical, presentation and Excel skills
An innovative thinker, to lead the way in getting the finance function to become more efficient.
Proficient in Xero & Fathom
Proven ability to motivate a wider/extended team in a fast-paced environment.
Self-starter with initiative and drive.
Good communicator and a strong team player.
Ability to multitask and manage deadlines.

Salary:36K-40K FTE (24 hours per week)
