We seek a highly organised and proactive Finance and Office Manager to oversee our office's daily operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid background in financial management. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth functioning of our administrative processes, supporting our team, implementing change and process improvement, and contributing to the organisation's overall success.
Financial Management.
Finance and bookkeeping tasks, including administration of invoices, inputting data to Sage, POs, expenses, petty cash, making bank payments, assisting with cash flow, and completing monthly and annual reconciliations.
Undertaking credit checks.
Assisting the company's accountant.
Process monthly payroll.
Manage payment of suppliers.
Distribute weekly financial target updates.
Work closely with the Project Management and Warehouse team to ensure correct paperwork is in place for invoicing.
Maintaining and managing bespoke financial management system as part of the financial planning and management of the business and projects.
Debtor Management.
Complete monthly P&L.
Office Management.
Order office and domestic consumables for each department.
Complete ID checks for all new starters
Set up new starters and process leavers on HR system.
Maintaining contractual terms.
implementing change and process improvement
Health and Safety.
Ensure health and safety standards are met, and any concerns are reported immediately
Ensure site security is upheld
Requirements.
Proven experience as a Finance Manager and administrative experience.
Strong knowledge of financial management principles, including financial planning and cost control.
Proficient in financial services, accounting software Sage, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Exceptional organisational skills with keen attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally at all levels.
Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion, integrity and confidentiality.
