Recruiters
, no matter how "different" you are, we're not entertaining recruitment agencies for this role.
This is an exciting time for Rubixx as we relocate to Stoke on Trent following our purchase of a new HQ. We've been holding back on recruitment for a while so you'll be joining at the same time 9 other roles we're filling. Nice to know you won't be the only newbie! The new offices are undergoing renovation, so you'll need to excuse our dust for a while, while we make it Staffordshire's best workplace!
...
Calling all Finance professionals. There's a new accounts system supplier in town, and we need you!
Following many years of successful bolt on software provision Rubixx launched their financial management system 2 years ago and have enjoyed runaway success.
As such this means we're expanding rapidly to meet that need and we don't want slick sales people and angry account managers, we want someone who understands accounting software to help our customers get the best out of our software and implement best practice using our incredible platform. We're growing to be the provider of choice in the sector.
Joining our growing implementation team you'll be working with onboarding mainly social housing customers to understand needs from an accounting perspective. You'll be supported by other consultants who will be working with joint and solo projects and our project managers who will help conduct this orchestra of geniuses (geniei?)
You'll work with various customers remotely throughout the UK and Europe from our base of operations here in Stafford, to setup and perfect the system to work for them. Seeing a client through from sale to live and keeping outstanding levels of customer satisfaction is a very rewarding feeling.
You'll also help test new aspects of the software to within an inch of it's life before we release to our customers to make sure it's bug free, and work with our Dev and Support teams to ensure that the best practices in actual housing and asset management delivery match what we are trying to model.
All in all, this is an exceptionally engaging and rewarding opportunity to join a software company at the start of a huge growth curve.
What we're looking for - one some or all of :
Someone with experience in delivering finance management services on the front line
Experience of using one or more legacy financial system as an admin
Experience of being in a systems improvement team or business transformation team within housing or accounting
We'd also like:
Positive communication skills - friendly, confident and personable.
Technology skills, you're not writing the software but you do have to become an expert in it and deliver sessions remotely.
A sleeves up, hands on approach to making the best out of what's available.
Logical, problem solving and methodical approach to situations.
The Process
Applications can be made here with your CV. We will invite successful applicants to attend interview where you'll present your experience and meet with our management team. The process will take around 2 hours.
The Package
Great working environment with a flexible approach to work depending on your need. The more you invest in us, the more we'll invest in you. The base salary is generous but the performance related pay adds a scaled productivity bonus which is paid quarterly and maxes out at 20k per year on a tiered basis.
What are we like as an employer?
Well, we're probably a bit like you, a bit different from the norm. That's a good thing in our eyes, who wants to be the same as everyone else, how very dull that would be!
What will you get from us? Well, we have a modern fun workplace, a fantastic customer base who love our products and a tight-knit team who look after each other and all grow together. We're all different with different strengths and areas for growth. There are no egos, politics or judgements.
We have flexitime, parking, a relaxed atmosphere, an involved and engaged management team, a modern comfortable workplace with as much tea coffee and hot chocolate as you can drink . Our offices have their own private lounge bar for relaxing with a brew and a licensed bar which we sometimes open after work. We have our own squash court, gym, spinning studio and table tennis setup which you are welcome to use before or after work or on your break.
We have an active (and slightly over competitive) social programme of bowling, karting, quizzing and pool.
How will you show us you can fit into our squad of broken robots? We don't mind. Most people send a CV, which is fine, we'd love to see it or just find a way to show us your talent and stand out from the crowd.
