What You'll Be Doing

As our Finance Trainee / Administrator, you'll become an integral part of our finance team. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Supporting the finance team and wider management with general admin tasks. Entering and maintaining accurate data in accounting and payroll systems. Assisting with weekly and monthly financial reconciliations. Handling supplier queries and managing incoming calls and emails. Organising and maintaining digital and physical filing systems. Opening and logging post. Ensuring the smooth running of the finance department.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same -- perfect for someone who enjoys learning on the job and taking initiative.

About You

We're looking for someone enthusiastic, curious, and ready to dive in.

You will need:

Prior administrative experience (office or business support). Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. Confident communication skills, both written and verbal. To live locally and be able to commute to our Worthing office -- a full, non-provisional driving licence and access to your own vehicle are required.

It would be a bonus if you have:

A basic understanding of bookkeeping or accounting principles. Experience using Microsoft Office or Office 365.

19,500 - 24,000 per annum, depending on age and experience, in line with UK Government National Minimum Wage and Living Wage brackets.
