This role is ideal for a first-time mover from practice, offering exposure to a large, complex business while retaining the feel of a smaller, hands-on team. You'll take ownership of technical accounting and statutory reporting while working closely with an inspiring Financial Controller.

ROLE

As the

Financial Accountant

, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting and ensuring compliance with UK accounting standards. This is a technical role, providing the perfect platform for a newly qualified accountant looking to develop within industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Ownership of UK statutory accounts and year-end reporting processes Ensure compliance with UK GAAP and Group accounting policies Support the audit process and act as main point of contact for auditors Assist with technical accounting matters and ad-hoc finance projects Work closely with the Financial Controller and wider finance team

PERSON

This role will require a techinical astute financial professional with attention to detail in addition to leading on process improvement. A strong audit background is ideal in addition to being:

ACA/ACCA qualified (first-time mover from practice strongly encouraged) Strong technical accounting knowledge and a proactive mindset Confident communicator with the ability to liaise with senior stakeholders A self-starter with excellent attention to detail
