Job Description

Interim Financial Accountant
Based in South East London, hybrid working
Length: 6 Months
Inside IR35
We are supporting a London Borough in their search for an experienced Financial Accountant with extensive Accounting experience and Local Government exposure to cover a role that require backfilling due to an internal secondment
Key Responsibilities of the Interim Financial Accountant:

Support with Bank Reconciliations across the services
Assist with VAT returns, which the Finance Manager will have oversight of to ensure quality and accuracy
Posting Journals for various services
Also assisting with AD-HOC BAU tasks within the team

Skills, experience and knowledge required of the Interim Financial Accountant:

Strong Local Government Accounting experience
Part or fully qualified accountant e.g. ACCA, CCAB, CIMA etc....
