Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Account Manager to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client accounts, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting the overall accounting functions of the organisation. Responsibilities



Manage and maintain client accounts using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero. Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently and accurately. Reconcile financial statements and ensure all records are up-to-date and compliant with organisational policies. Liaise with clients to address queries related to their accounts and provide exceptional customer service. Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries for management review. Support month-end and year-end closing procedures. Monitor cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance metrics. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations. Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations. Collaborate with internal teams to improve accounting workflows and systems. Manage tax filings and liaise with auditors, regulatory bodies, and financial institutions.

Experience



Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's or MBA is an advantage). 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management roles. Proven experience in account management or bookkeeping within a professional environment. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential. Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial reconciliation techniques. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously. Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance standards relevant to the organisation's operations. Prior experience in a similar role will be considered an advantage but is not mandatory; training will be provided where necessary. This position offers a supportive work environment where attention to detail and excellent communication skills are highly valued. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive approach to account management, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks undertaken.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 33,500.00-34,800.00 per year
