We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee our organisation's financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance, ensuring the organisation's financial health and integrity. Duties

Prepare, analyse, and present accurate financial statements in accordance with recognised accounting standards. Oversee daily financial operations including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll processes. Manage the organisation's budgeting process and monitor financial performance against budgets. Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and internal policies. Utilise accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar platforms to maintain accurate records. Conduct regular audits and coordinate external audits when necessary. Implement and improve financial controls and procedures to safeguard organisational assets. Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies aligned with organisational goals. Supervise finance team members, providing guidance and training as needed.

Experience

Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar senior finance role. Extensive knowledge of financial management principles and practices. Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or comparable programmes. Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and overall financial reporting standards. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Relevant professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA are preferred but not essential.
