Marley is seeking an experienced and proactive Financial Controller to oversee our financial operations and ensure robust fiscal management. As a key partner to the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for financial reporting, internal controls, and supporting the strategic growth of the business. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional with a background inManufacturing/Construction to take ownership of a critical function within a long-standing, reputable industry leader.

So, what's the mission?




As Financial Controller, you will lead our operations accounts team in delivering precise monthly management accounts and actionable business insights. You will take ownership of the annual budget, monthly FP&A models, and weekly cashflow forecasting, ensuring robust control over the balance sheet and the end-to-end capital expenditure process. This role blends technical governance with commercial flair; you will provide vital commentary on revenue and margins while supporting the annual audit. Ideally suited for a proactive leader, you will also play a key role in deputising for the Finance Director and assisting with broader departmental duties as the business evolves

What are the mission-critical skills?



Qualified accountant Manufacturing or standard costing Experience Multi-site and entity financial reporting and analysis Ability to meet tight deadlines Keen eye for detail, well organised and curious Demonstratable management of team and coaching skills SAP experience preferable
