Job Description
National Homebuyers is a property company that buys houses for cash and has been operating for nearly 20 years. We are a small company with under 20 staff, based in Burgess Hill.
Our ideal candidate will be able to work independently and have prior experience in a similar role.
Requirements:
- Part or fully qualified Accountant (ACCA, ICAEW, CIMA)
- Experience with Xero accounting software
- Experience with year end audit
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively

As the Financial Controller, your main responsibilities will include:
Produce timely and accurate Management Accounts for the Group of companies
Ensure cash is well managed, funds are available as required and provide short-term cashflow analysis
Prepare payroll to submit to an external payroll company
Be the key day-to-day contact for the Group's auditors and manage the year end process
Manage timely payments
Monitor predicted sales and future purchases
Monitor covenants and reporting to the Bank
Reporting to the Directors and dealing with queries
Ensuring the Group meets all requirements and deadlines for Corp Tax, VAT, PAYE and year end
