The Controller will play a key hands-on role, along with the General Manager and Finance team, in developing and leading the overall corporate financial strategy to continued improvement in Nualight's financial performance, improve global operations and controls, increase cash flow and enhance shareholder value.
Responsibilities include:
Run Monthly and Annual Closing Process
Prepare financial statements and month end management reports, conduct reviews and recommend changes, as needed
Analyze key accounting processes, perform periodic gap analysis, propose and implement changes to align as needed
Proactively manage cash flows
Conduct meaningful proactive analysis to improve business decisions focusing on management of working capital
Implement financial strategies to improve EBITDA, cash, sales, GM while reducing cost
Establish internal control processes required to manage and grow the business
Prepare annual budgets and periodic forecast updates
Oversee, and in some cases prepare, VAT filings in multiple countries
Develop and enhance company performance metrics and KPI reporting
Advise the General Manager on key financial and business decisions
Lead and manage the Nualight AR and AP team in day-to-day operations. Able and willing to provide hands-on assistance, as needed.
Requirements:
Senior level Finance Manager with 6+ years of financial experience
Previous experience in global electronics or industrial technology manufacturing businesses
Previous experience with PE backed businesses is preferred
Based around Crawley, UK
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics is preferred.
Track record of building, implementing & concluding winning financial strategies
Must have a hands-on approach & thrives in high energy environments
Able to work successfully with other regions & cultures internationally (USA, India, China)
Willing to question the status quo and offer alternate solutions to financial and operations challenges
Data driven individual who uses metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives and results

Pay: 60,000.00-70,000.00 per year
