Accounts Assistant



Visions Leisure Centre are currently seeking a Financial Controller to join our team in Cumnock.

Job Responsibilities:



Monitoring daily communications and answering any queries. Preparing statutory accounts. Ensuring payments, amounts and records are correct. Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers and journals. Recording and filing cash transactions. Controlling credit and chasing debt. Invoice processing and filing. Processing expense requests for the accountant to approve. Bank reconciliation. Liaising with third party providers, clients and suppliers. Updating and maintaining procedural documentation.
Experience with Xero is required, Microsoft excel and general areas of accounting and finance.

Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience; strong organisational skills; ability to work independently; ability to work well under pressure; ability to multi-task and prioritise work.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract

Pay: From 15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week
