Mirror & Glass processing Ltd are One of the UKs leading glass processing & installation service providers. We are looking for hard working and enthusiastic individual to enhance our financial accounts office team. The selected candidate shall work along side the Financial Director following a well organised financial structure.

Experience in the glass industry is NOT essential. Training will be provided.

Working Hours - Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to oversee our financial operations and ensure the integrity of our financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial management and accounting practices, with proficiency in various accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, and Xero. This role is critical in providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's growth and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

Manage the preparation of monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations. Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency. Conduct regular financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that support decision-making. Ensure the integrity of financial data by maintaining robust internal controls. Prepare budgets and forecasts, monitoring performance against targets throughout the year. Liaise with external auditors during audits to facilitate a smooth process.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role within a dynamic environment. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial management practices. Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, Xero, or similar platforms. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration across teams.
