About us

We are a well-established private company specializing in commercial boatbuilding and boat maintenance. Key products are pilot boats and defence patrol boats. Key customers are UK harbour authorities and UK and overseas defence forces.

We are looking for a Financial Controller to lead the accounts function and to replace the current Finance Director who is retiring.

Role/Key responsibilities

As a critical member of the senior management team and reporting to the Managing Director, as well as ensuring the standard tasks of producing monthly accounts reports, budgets and cash forecasts, liaising with auditors and other professionals and running the small accounts department, you will be expected to work closely with the production team to identify and develop management information systems that will help drive the company forward.

The Person

Qualified accountant, finalist or be qualified by experience in a senior financial role. Commercially aware individual able to contribute to the strategic development of the business.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 50,000.00-60,000.00 per year
