We are looking for a commercially focused financial controller to help run all aspects of firm which are not "legal".
Role Summary
As Financial Controller, you will lead all aspects of financial management and process improvement, including statutory accounting, financial controls, budgeting, reporting, and compliance. You will also play a key role in strategic planning and provide commercial insight to support the firm's continued growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations of the LLP, including general ledger, billing, client account management, and reconciliations
Prepare monthly management accounts, cashflow forecasts, and annual budgets
Produce year-end statutory accounts and liaise with external accountants and auditors
Ensure SRA Accounts Rules compliance and oversee client account integrity
Manage payroll, VAT returns, and HMRC submissions
Provide financial insights to partners for strategic decision-making, including pricing, profitability, and investment planning
Monitor key financial KPIs and support operational efficiency initiatives
Maintain and improve internal controls and processes
Qualifications & Experience
ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent)
Advanced Excel skills and financial modelling ability
Strong commercial acumen
