Lincoln Bishop University is recruiting an experienced Financial Controller. This is an opportunity for an individual to contribute to the success of this growing institution. Through improved processes, controls and financial reporting the University will be able to deliver its Strategic Plan reassured that it is operating within its Financial Resilience Framework.
You will be a qualified finance professional with excellent technical accounting knowledge and previous experience of being a Financial Controller or equivalent role.
In the role you will:
Oversee the financial operations of the University ensuring robust financial processes are in place with accurate and timely budgets, forecasts and cash flow reporting.
Be responsible for month end reconciliations, and reporting.
Ensure regulatory returns are accurate and submitted on time.
Be the point of contact for the external auditors.
Lead the finance team and be part of the University management team.
The Ideal candidate for this role will be:
Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
Proven track record as a Financial Controller or similar role
Strong technical knowledge
Ideally with Higher Education experience
