Reports to: COO, Board

Responsible for: All financial related personnel, systems & processes, general accounting, cost control, membership and payroll

Based: Office

Hours: Full time - 9-5pm Monday to Friday plus any additional hours necessary for the role without payment of overtime. Weekend DM shifts every 6/8 weeks

Accounts: to manage the daily running of the finance department, to provide continuous training and support to the finance team members and ensure that senior management and heads of departments receive timely accurate financial reports. Provides continuous support to the COO in implementing new procedures, software's and projects. Be innovative and maintains a positive attitude to "change".

Memberships: to ensure that the collections are duly paid, revenues are accurately deferred and accurate reporting is delivered on timely basis.

ADMINSTRATION & GENERAL

Leads and coordinates the Month End reporting cycle and ensure that accurate results are delivered within the given deadlines Ensures that Balance Sheet reconciliations with related back up are provided on quarterly basis to the COO Ensures that any HMRC dues are reconciled and settled regularly, embraces any inquiry received from the Financial Authorities and handles the related communication in relation to PAYE, VAT, PSA, Business Rates and any other HMRC matters Liaises with the Statutory Auditor and ensure that the audit process runs smoothly and is filed ahead of the statutory deadline Ensures that I/C reconciliations are always up to date between AUL and MML and or TAC Prepares and distribute the daily KPI report (as per samples provided) to all stakeholders. Manage and distribute daily revenue reports including cash flow projections Communicates with the HOD's and maintain a constructive and transparent communication within the team Provides general financial training and development to HOD's managers as required Contributes in creating a "can do" approach environment, promoting good moral, high commitment levels and pride within the department in light of the future developments Leads and coordinate the launch of a consolidated P&L as main reporting set Attends and ensures the department staff attends Fire/Health and Safety and any other training sessions as required of a statutory nature or the business, to assist in their personal development to meet the needs of the business Ensures that the data recorded on ERP is always up and reconciled with PMS Completes and annual business plan including Operating Budget, cash flow and any other relevant schedule
COMMERCIAL & COST CONTROL

Provides strategic advice to the COO and HODs on future financial management and enhancing profitability, reviewing the business and adopting appropriate financial strategies to support this. Ensures that granular reporting related to cost of sales by revenue stream / division is implemented. Ensure that an appropriate governance in relation to purchasing approvals, invoice validation and payment dual authorization, are always in place and effective Negotiate with external vendors the best possible pricing for supplies, services and commercial agreements which maximize the efficiency Validate any commercial agreement (i.e. partnerships, maintenance, consultancy, leasing, etc) and ensure that the Company incurs in minimum exposure in terms of risks and liabilities Ensure that the systems are updated and the correct systems training & procedures are constantly implemented to reduce the risk of fraud through a meaningful training program Assist and advise the General Manager on new projects proposed through sound analysis, reporting, projections and commercial acumen Provides HOD's with a comprehensive payroll report (including consultant and agency staff) showing comparisons to budget and previous periods Establish and implements tight controls on employee hires, paid hours and incentives schemes within the guidelines of the Budget and the employment law Manage the finance team though bi-annual appraisals and personalized career developments
Reporting

Maintain and provides ad-hoc reporting and monthly management accounts for the business along with proper back up using the command of excel and / or any appropriate platform.

Create ad-hoc presentations to present the data suitable for non financial management in an elegant and accurate manner.
