This is a role in our small but impactful finance team. You would be working closely with CFO, Senior Controller, Operational Controller, and Junior Financial Specialist.




What we're looking for





In this role, you will be responsible for

delivering high-quality monthly financial closings, reports, analyses, and give recommendations that support management decision-making

.


As your Daytrip journey progresses you will become more involved in core financial processes, reporting, budget tracking, and financial analysis. This role is giving you the ability to gain valuable experiences and grow within an international environment.

What you'll do ?






Prepare inputs for monthly financial closings in cooperation with our Junior Financial Specialist Collaborate with the Accounting team to ensure correct posting of revenues and costs Prepare monthly performance reports for management, including analysis and commentary on performance trends and overall development, in collaboration with the Senior Controller Create ad-hoc financial analyses and reports based on current needs Support the annual budgeting process in cooperation with the Senior Controller Prepare monthly budget tracking reports for budget owners , including OPEX analysis and commentary Support the preparation of financial audit documentation Participate in projects focused on improving and streamlining financial processes, both internally and in cooperation with our external accounting partner Work in close cooperation with other departments (Sales, Marketing, Product, HR) on data collection, validation, and interpretation


What You Bring





A degree in Economics, Finance and 2-3 years of experience in a similar role Strong working knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets (pivot tables, formulas such as sumifs, xlookup, working with linked files) A genuine interest in numbers and data, with a high attention to detail and a structured approach Clear, proactive communication and a collaborative mindset A reliable and proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and know when to ask for support Motivation to identify, propose, and implement process improvements Confidence to formulate recommendations and take responsibility for their quality

Ability to communicate in English, and Czech or Slovak

(due to our Czech speaking external accounting partner) Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-growing company A practical, execution-focused approach to getting things done
