Part-Time Financial Controller

to join our team.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to take ownership of our financial operations, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance across the organisation. This is a part-time role, ideal for someone who is highly organised, analytical, and able to work independently while contributing to our wider management team.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and sector-specific regulations Manage payroll processes and liaise with external accountants Monitor financial performance and provide insights to senior management Develop and maintain effective financial controls and processes Support business planning and strategic decision-making

About You

Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or significant relevant experience Previous experience within health & social care or a similar regulated environment (desirable) Strong working knowledge of accounting software and Excel Excellent communication and organisational skills Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement
