Job Description

Hawthorn One is partnering with a high-growth private equity backed business with a clear exit strategy, which has recently achieved triple-digit revenue growth in the past 5 years. Manage the annual audit process, acting as the key point of contact for external auditors and ensuring smooth, efficient delivery. Demonstrate a keen eye for detail by getting under the numbers and ensuring data integrity across systems and reports. Support the evolution of the finance function by supporting the continual improvement of scalable, pre-populated financial processes and payment solutions fit for a growing, international business. Gain exposure to international finance, including foreign currency considerations and group reporting, as the business expands overseas. Lead the preparation and delivery of statutory accounts, tax filings, and other regulatory submissions, gaining hands-on experience across all areas. Take the lead on payroll oversight, ensuring accurate and timely processing within an already automated environment. Contribute to continuous improvement across financial controls, systems, and reporting frameworks. Show ambition and a willingness to learn by taking on increasing responsibility as the business scales over time.
