Financial Controller - DSV Road Division

Location: Purfleet



Join DSV Road Division as a Financial Controller, where you'll play a key role in delivering accurate financial results and partnering with Finance and Operations to drive performance.

We're looking for a proactive professional with strong financial controlling experience, advanced analytical skills, and proficiency in Excel and SAP. Knowledge of budgeting, financial analysis, and the ability to meet tight deadlines will set you up for success.



What will you be doing?



Preparing and reconciling monthly WIPs and accruals Delivering operational and staff-related statistics weekly and monthly Ensuring accurate cost accounting and challenging operational results Producing and sharing operational KPIs and financial summaries Reconciling TMS and SAP data for accuracy Collaborating with Shared Service Center and auditors to meet reporting deadlines Conducting balance sheet reviews and driving timely adjustments Supporting annual budget preparation and ensuring alignment with operational goals Maintaining compliance with financial processes and controls

About You



Proven experience in financial controlling and data interpretation Degree in Finance or related field; strong accounting background preferred Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems; TMS knowledge is a plus Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to work independently, prioritise, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
