About the Role

We are recruiting a Financial Controller to play a pivotal role in our expanding organisation. This is a senior position, accountable to the Director of Finance and Resources, with responsibility for driving financial performance and ensuring compliance across all finance functions.


Part of a collaborative finance team of 7. Direct line management of two Senior Accountants and oversight of the Finance Manager Organisation turnover of 20 million across multiple sites and departments Strategic ownership of financial planning, reporting, and risk management

Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic oversight of income and expenditure reporting and ensure robust budget monitoring Lead financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis to inform decisionmaking Oversee statutory accounts, audits, and compliance with all relevant regulations Drive process and system improvements, including digital transformation initiatives Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, influencing financial understanding across the organisation Manage and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement Support investment appraisals, treasury functions, and grant management Contribute to organisational development through leadership of strategic projects
