TaperedPlus is growing, and we're looking for an experienced

Financial Controller

to strengthen our finance function and support our next phase of expansion. This role is ideal for a proactive, commercially minded finance professional who enjoys improving processes, delivering insight, and working closely with senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Lead monthly management accounts process across group entities. Deliver accurate financial and non-financial reporting to senior leaders and investors. Build and maintain forecasting models (incl. cash flow) to support strategic decisions. Manage budgeting cycles, VAT returns, and investor reporting. Liaise with auditors, tax advisers, and external partners. Strengthen internal controls, systems, and processes. Oversee payroll accuracy, insurance matters, and IT-related capital expenditure. Support the CFO with board packs and performance analysis. Lead and develop a small finance team.

About You

Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA). 5+ years' experience in a senior finance role; PE exposure desirable. Strong analytical and communication skills. Advanced Excel and financial systems experience. Proven ability to drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement.
