Imoxis offers modern and elegant serviced offices located in characterful period buildings in Central London. We prioritise the well-being of our clients with fully fitted design inspired and service led offices. Our buildings are equipped with state of the art meeting rooms, and smart breakout areas including other amenities such as roof terraces, music rooms, fully fitted gyms, towel serviced showers and naturally cycle storage.
We currently operate 3 buildings, totalling over 50ksqft and over 60 individual offices. Our family owned business is growing steadily. We take a long term view on our projects. The team consists of 14 employees with 3 on-going recruitments. Our staff is paramount and we pride ourselves in offering each employee a path to develop their career.
Role Description
Reporting to the CEO, the Financial Controller will oversee all financial operations for 4 companies, 3 acting as landlords and 1 as an operating company. This includes
supervising all book entries, including sales and supplier invoices process
liaising with part time accountant for bookkeeping and VAT
managing all bank accounts including preparing cash forecasts
preparing and updating all budgets as well as drafting quarterly management accounts for the board
managing all business rates and liaising with external tax advisers for tax returns
preparing statutory accounts
The candidate will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with financial regulations, conducting audits, and providing strategic insights to board members.
This role can be full-time or part time (minimum 3 days/week) and is based in our Westminster offices.
Qualifications
Financial management and accounting skills with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as proficiency in financial modelling and scenario analysis
Knowledge of financial regulations, tax compliance, and audit requirements
Proficiency in using SAGE accounting software and financial tools
Leadership skills to effectively help operational team to perform their duties linked with finance (credit card spreadsheets...)
Excellent communication and presentation skills to support interaction with internal and external stakeholders
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification preferred
Experience either in a large or medium size accounting firm or in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced, professional business environment
