Due to a forthcoming retirement, we have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Director to join our friendly team based in Chesterfield.


The successful candidate will be a key and trusted partner to the Managing Director/Owner as well as the Head Office and Operational Directors. The role's objective is to increase the Company's long-term profitability and provide financial services, analysis and advice to enable this to be effective.


The new Finance Director must be a qualified ACA/ACCA/ACMA with a strong track record as a Finance Director/CFO in a privately owned medium to large company or subsidiary of a corporate company within a multi-site sector. Displaying strong financial and analytical skills coupled with an outward looking and dynamic personality with the ability to convey complex financial and strategic views and information to non-financial managers.

Salary

- Anticipated earnings between 85,000 and 100,000 depending on experience

The remit of the role is broad; the key responsibilities include:

Lead financial planning and analysis across the company. Ensuring relevant Management Information is timely, accurate and produced to be understood and used to drive business growth and profitability. Oversee/ generate all financial operations including, strategic forecasting, accounting, payroll and taxation. Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements including HMRC, Companies House and Audit regulations. Manage internal controls and processes within the finance and credit control functions. Be the primary point of contact with external auditors, bankers, insurance, and legal bodies. Strategic property portfolio advice. Lead, mentor and develop the finance and credit control teams and encouraging the culture of good financial control and understanding across the wider business.
