ABOUT THIS ROLE
Audible is seeking an experienced Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to support the International organization with a focus on sustainable growth across UK, Europe, and Canada. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills as a finance business partner supporting global, regional, and local teams to drive strategic initiatives and key analysis to support the company\'s business and growth objectives. You will provide compelling and well-researched analysis for use in shaping strategic decisions. You will translate rapid business growth to operational support needs and financial implications across marketplaces and at a portfolio level. This role will provide you with an excellent understanding of the international organization and key marketplaces through its exposure to key drivers for acquisition, retention, and engagement.

ABOUT THE TEAM
Audible\'s Global Finance Team partners throughout the organization to develop and provide performance insights, deep-dive analysis, and business analytics that drive growth, business planning, and strategic decision-making. We work closely with Amazon\'s media & entertainment and digital business units (including Prime Video, Music, Games, Twitch, Studios/MGM) in continued partnership to think holistically on behalf of our customers.

As a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst, you will...
- Create of financial models and other financial analyses to support our annual budgeting and rolling reforecast processes, along with longer term growth strategies
- Collaborate with Finance colleagues to drive best practices and efficiency improvements across marketplaces and working to align reporting and forecasting methodologies, including but not limited to annual budget and rolling reforecast activities
- Analyze and manage financial and operational KPIs to support the business owners across all functions (Marketing, Content, Product, Labour Management, among others)
- Identify cost saving opportunities, develop initiatives to stimulate growth, and cooperate with operational management during implementation
- Work with the Controllership function to build reconciliation of, and forward-looking forecast of, financial accounting adjustments
- Prepare monthly performance-based reporting for the business & senior management
- Execute ad hoc finance initiatives, as and when required
- Collaborate with Finance colleagues to drive best practices and efficiency improvements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Qualified accountant with strong academic record
- 5+ years post qualification experience in a role in financial planning, strategic financial advisory, or operational analysis within industries such as investment banking, corporate consulting, public accounting, or a related industry
- Experience building relationships and effectively communicating with peers, senior leaders, and wider stakeholders
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-intensity and rapidly evolving environment
- Experience in developing budgets and forecasts and/or other financial planning responsibilities
- Advanced Excel experience - at ease building financial analysis and models from \xe2\x80\x9cscratch\xe2\x80\x9d

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluency in English
- Proven time management, problem-solving and critical thinking ability, with structured and systematic way of working
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proven ability to pick up new skills and knowledge quickly
- Demonstrated capacity to partner with the business and ability to build excellent working relationships
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage large data sets while developing analyses independently
- Hands-on with ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workloads
- Experience with cube engine tools (e.g. TM1 Cognos or Essbase)
- Experience with BI tools
