YOUR ROLE

Our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team based in Ashby de la Zouch have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced FP&A Business Partner where you will support with the preparation of consolidated information such as monthly reporting, budgeting, forecasting, business reviews, analysis and strategic plans across the United Kingdom and Ireland.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is already operating in an established accountancy, financial reporting, or project role, practiced in analysing and consolidating complex financial information across various financial software\'s, with the ability to form strong working relationships, influence and problem solve.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Reporting into the FP&A Manager, you will support with the preparation of the monthly consolidation and analysis ensuring accuracy and relevance.

As the FP&A Business Partner you will oversee the approval of management accounts ensuring checks are conducted and results are agreed with financial and functional owners, provide accurate monthly outlooks requiring clear and accurate explanations of variances identifying risks and opportunities and undertake in collaboration with management annual budget and forecasting exercises in line with business guidelines. You will work together with wider financial teams to discuss and analyse financial information, performance, client reports and provide monthly consolidated result packs to financial and business owners.

You will take ownership of ad hoc projects, analysis, and the provision of financial information as required using various financial tools and systems such as JDE, Onestream and Excel. You will be responsible for system interfaces taking a proactive approach to system performance, outputs and retrieval of information linking in with management to suggest improvements, highlight issues and embed remedial actions.

In addition, you may also take responsibility for leading and developing a diverse team where you will instill a high performance and continuous improvement culture that drives success and engagement.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

To be successful in your application you must be able to demonstrate proven experience in accountancy and reporting with prior management accountant experience. You will be CIMA/ACCA part qualified or studying towards with strong knowledge of accounting and reporting software and the ability to analyse and interpret complex information, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to financial and non-financial colleagues.

You will have proven leadership and project management experience with the ability to identify and implement improvements, be a natural problem solver and logical thinker, with excellent communication skills and possess the ability to form strong working relationships at all levels. You will be IT literate, able to use MS Packages at an interim to advanced level.

It would be desirable however not essential if you have experience of working in a complex 3PL or Logistics and Supply Chain organisation.
