The Role Due to continued expansion in Cumbria, we are recruiting for a Financial Planning Assistant to join our Carlisle office and wider Financial Planning & Wealth Management Service Line. This role is ideal for a candidate who is looking to further their career within Financial Services as we are a growing business committed to providing independent face to face advice to clients. The overall purpose of this role is to provide first line administrative and technical support to the Financial Planning Consultant whilst continuing to be the main point of contact for clients and maintaining a high level of client service. The main elements of this role will include:

  • Processing new business
  • Preparation of the suitability report and conducting research
  • Preparing meeting and review packs
  • Completing compliance checks on businesses
  • Handling queries from clients and maintaining client databases
  • Carrying out general tasks in support of the Financial Planning Consultant as and when required
The Candidate In order to fulfil the role, we expect a candidate to have:
  • A minimum of one years\' experience of working in a similar role / capacity
  • The ability to work unsupervised but to contribute and work effectively as part of a team
  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills
  • Great communication skills (both written and verbal) and to demonstrate these continuously whilst providing an exceptional level of customer service
