Job Description

Robert Walters are excited to be representing a hugely successful global PLC in their search for an ambitious Financial Reporting Accountant to join their high calibre finance team. This is an opportunity to join a forward-thinking and market leading organisation based in impressive central Manchester offices within a team known for development and progression of employees.

The role:

• Taking responsibility for a number of global entities across the group, preparing legal entity reporting packs for the Board and providing logical explanations for fluctuations.
• Ensuring that the P&L and Balance sheet are materially correct.
• Using financial data to prepare and record general ledger journal entries.
• Prepares cash and balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Business partner with various stakeholders internally, providing information required to file tax returns, prepare insurance documentation and any other required information pertaining to the entity.
• Review aged rec breaks to ensure that all items appropriately reserved and produce detailed legal entity analytical packs, supporting lead schedules and a detailed understanding of statutory entities.
• Build strong working relationships with the SLT and other key stakeholders.

You as the successful individual:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
• Knowledge of auditing processes and procedures as well as accounting principles, financial statements, practices and procedures.
• Internal/external audit experience.
• Skilled in analytical and statistical examination.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong internal working relationships.
