Foundation Home Loans are a specialist mortgage lender, based in Bracknell in Berkshire. We are specialists because we understand the market and because we know that not everyone has straightforward requirements when it comes to mortgages.
We are looking to enhance our team and currently have a vacancy for an experienced Finance Reporting Analyst.
Key Accountabilities:
Assisting in preparing statutory accounts for SPV's/warehouses and consolidated group accounts
Preparing regulatory returns (MLAR/MQ/MM) on a monthly/quarterly basis
Researching new disclosures and using accounting standards for papers/accounts
Writing accounting memo's for newly incorporated warehouses/SPV's
Preparing and delivering accurate and timely information to auditors
Liaising with accounts payable to ensure purchase ordered are raised/receipted correctly
Corporation tax accrual-analysis of actuals vs prior year and budget
Working with external tax specialists
Work effectively at team level to support the team so that it meets its objectives and goals on a day to day basis
Provide cover within the team during holidays/absences
Manage relationships within the business as required to deliver specific role accountabilities
Assisting with many ad-hoc aspects that arise

Essential Skills/Qualifications:
AAT/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent recently qualified
Financial services experience, mortgage lending background beneficial
Good technical accounting understanding

Ability to work effectively alone or in a team
Good communication skills - both oral and written
