NSI Fire Gold accredited
. We're expanding ourFire & Emergency Lighting division
and are looking for hands-on engineers to join our growing team.The Role
You'll work across a variety of client sites carrying out:
Servicing and inspections of
fire alarm and emergency lighting systems
(BS 5839 & BS 5266-1) Minor installation and remedial works - adding devices, replacing panels, like-for-like replacement of emergency luminaires under safe isolation Fault-finding and non-critical repairs Accurate reporting and certification Participation in a faircall-out rota
(typically 2 evening/week & 1 in 3-4 weekends)What We're Looking For
Experience with
conventional & addressable fire alarm systems
Competent infault-finding, remedials & small-works installations
Knowledge ofAdvanced/Kentec
panels (advantage but not essential) Understanding ofBS 5839 Parts 1 & 6
Full UK driving licence Professional, self-motivated and good communicatorTraining & Development
If you're not yet competent in all areas (e.g. emergency lighting or safe isolation), we'll support you with training such as:
Basic Electrical Maintenance (2-day)
Safe Isolation (1-day)
Emergency Lighting Fundamentals (1-day)
We'll also support you to be authorised for
like-for-like emergency luminaire replacement
under safe isolation in compliance with BS 5266-1.What We Offer
