Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fire Extinguisher & Emergency Lighting Engineer to join our team. The Engineer will undertake preventative maintenance for both important disciplines of fire safety for our commercial customers. The successful candidate will collaborate with various teams to ensure that all fire safety measures comply with industry standards and regulations.

Duties

Servicing, maintaining, replacing and installing new fire extinguishers for our commercial customers Carrying out 3 hour drain down tests for emergency lighting for our commercial customers Where replacement emergency lights are required, accurately taking details of the failed make/model so that a replacement can be efficiently sourced Issuing maintenance certificates via our sophisticated CRM system Take ownership for own personal development including on-job training and Simpro (CRM) Take responsibility for driving a company van including daily checks and liaising with fleet personnel when required Comply with companies Health and safety policy at all times Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively during installation and repair tasks.

Requirements

An ideal candidate will have two years experience working within a construction or electrical company Full driving licence and proof of your right to work in the UK Ability to work 8.00am to 5.00pm excluding travel time, however, due to the nature of the role, flexibility in working hours is required due to occasional early starts Fast learner and passion for customer service Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team Proven communication skills Professional and presentable at all times Self-motivated with a desire to learn new skills Relevant qualifications in engineering or a related field are preferred.

Pay: 25,161.76-30,000.00 per year
