Description



Cornerstone Group were founded in 2009 and specialise in the in the Fire & Security needs for commercial and large residential properties.

Role/Responsibilities:

Undertake service & maintenance, fault-finding, minor installations, and remedial works across various forms of access control, CCTV, intruder alarm, door entry and intercom systems in accordance with the relevant Standards and regulations & Fire systems Complete 3 year Apprenticeship Attend training at the training centre one week every 8 weeks throughout the duration of the course/courses. To provide reliable and accurate technical information, documentation, support, and advice to clients and colleagues To strive towards Excellence through self-learning, training, experience, and knowledge To always present a professional appearance and manner To attend any training courses and meetings as required. Awareness of Health & Safety and working in a safe manor Reporting line: Engineering Manager

Please note:

Main location of works will be in Kent, London and Home Counties Enhanced DBS checks will be carried out on all successful applicants and a clean record is therefore essential Gaining ECS card Essential before commencing work on our portfolio of sites

Entry requirements

18+ due to site restrictions Pass an enhanced DBS check Have a full drivers licence with access to a vehicle (Maximum 3 points on licence)

Training to be provided



Fire Emergency Security Systems Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard.



Skills for Security will deliver the apprenticeship training in block release at their Watford centre. You will attend centre one week every eight weeks.



You will be required to complete all training tasks allocated during your block release weeks at the training centre and gather any site evidence needed to supplement your studies.



You will be required to complete an annual assessment at the training centre and take part in any additional training courses that the company require you to complete.
