Description



Founded in 2005, Code Security Systems has grown into a nationally operating, industry-recognised security contractor. We are fully accredited in Fire Alarms, Access Control, CCTV, and Intruder Alarms, working with customers across the UK.



Code Security Systems specialise in the design, installation and maintenance of fire and security systems for commercial buildings, high-rise properties and multi-dwelling developments.



The Role



This is an excellent opportunity to work for an established local employer and train towards becoming a multi-disciplined Fire and Security Engineer. You will work alongside an experienced engineer, gaining hands-on experience in the installation and maintenance of:

Access Control Systems CCTV Systems Fire Alarm Systems Intruder Alarm Systems Door Entry Systems

Entry requirements

Maths and English GCSE at grade 4/C or above Aged 18+ due to site restritions Drivers Licence is desireable, but not required (Oyster Card will also be provided) Must be able to pass an enhanced DBS and internal screening

Training to be provided



Skills for Security will deliver the apprenticeship training in block release at their Dagenham training centre. You will attend centre one week every eight weeks, Tuesday to Friday



Fire Emergency Security Systems Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard.



You will be required to complete all training tasks allocated during your block release weeks at the training centre and gather any site evidence needed to supplement your studies.



You will be required to complete an annual assessment at the training centre and take part in any additional training courses that the company require you to complete.



The employer will mentor and coach you on the job.

Please note that the salary for this position will be National Minimum Wage to begin with.
