Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fire Stopper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing fire-stopping systems to prevent the spread of fire and smoke in buildings. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices and the ability to work with various materials and tools. The Fire Stopper will play a crucial role in ensuring safety standards are upheld in all projects.
Duties
Install fire-stopping materials in walls, floors, and ceilings according to specifications and safety regulations. Fabricate and weld components as necessary to ensure proper installation. Use power tools and hand tools effectively to complete tasks efficiently. Conduct inspections of installed fire-stopping systems to ensure compliance with building codes. Collaborate with other trades, including carpenters and electricians, to coordinate work on-site. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety guidelines. Assist in the planning and execution of fire-stopping strategies for new construction projects.
Must have CSCS card and firestopping experience
