Orbit Workforce Solutions Ltd is recruiting for experienced Fire Stoppers to join an upcoming project in
Bournemouth.
Key Responsibilities:
Install and maintain BAT and Mastic & Firefly cavity closer systems in accordance with relevant codes and standards.
Inspect and assess existing firestop and cavity closer installations for compliance and effectiveness.
Collaborate with construction teams, including carpenters, electricians, and masons, to integrate firestop and cavity closer solutions into building designs.
Prepare and handle materials required for BAT and Mastic & Firefly installations as needed.
Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently during installations.
Conduct regular inspections of work areas to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
Document installation processes and maintain accurate records of materials used.
Requirements:
Blue CSCS Card (Mandatory)
NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection
Experience with Firefly Barrier installation (preferable)
Proven experience in fire stopping, including batt & mastic, fire doors, penetration sealing, and related tasks
Own tools and PPE
